For a second week in a row AAC’s Cory Weisnicht walks away with a first place win at Creekside Firing Range’s tactical rifle match!

This match was a tactical carbine match with four stages and a round count in the 140 range. Targets ranged from 3″ plates at 100-yards to IDPA targets at close distance and everything in between. Three of the four stages required lots of running, magazine changes and even additional staged weapons, such as a revolver, that shooters had to use to neutralize certain targets. Cory used an AAC Ranger II on his winning rifle.
AAC donated a new M4-2000 as grand prize for the winner. Since Cory took first place, the prize went to the second place winner, Marcus Harrison. Polite Society, Inc. is handling the transfer of the prize for Marcus and will walk him through the process as this is his first silencer!
In attendance at the match were many very skilled shooters, including a special forces firearms instructor fresh back from Afghanistan, an active duty Ranger, several law enforcement firearms instructors and some serious competition shooters. It was a tough match and Cory and Marcus really earned their spots on the leader board.
