Tuesday, May 31, 2011Got another one from the weekend. Maxx at the Grand Canyon this past holiday weekend wearing his Purple X-guns Tee Tuesday, May 31, 2011Friday, May 27, 2011The guys at Houston Armory spliced together some videos using different silencers, including the 762SD and the 762SDN6, doing mag dumps of 300BLK Subsonic. Nice Friday, May 27, 2011Kevin posted a picture of linked 300BLK from a Military show he recently attended. My understanding is the Mk46 in 300BLK was a huge hit. The barrel was made by Noveske Rifleworks and here is a video of one of their guys shooting it. Tuesday, May 24, 2011I remember when I got an Advanced Armament catalog in 2002 and saw the Spider and Scorpion Silencers. MAN I wanted one . . . but never “pulled the trigger”. Both the Spiders and Scorpions were small and lightweight 9mm wet cans. They were direct thread and did not have the ASAP system. Now there is a modern small/lightweight wet 9mm silencer . . . the TiRant9S. When I show the TiRant9S, one of the things I show folks is that it is actually SHORTER that our shortest .22lr silencer, the Pilot2 (5.07″ v 5.22″) . . . and it has the ASAP system for reliable cycling on “Browning Tilting Barrel” type pistols. As our own beloved Knox would say . . . “Respect!” Tuesday, May 24, 2011A couple of very fast videos from our buddies at Houston Armory shooting 300BLK SubSonic Monday, May 23, 2011Monday, May 23, 2011Mers took a TiRant9S to Thunder Ranch this past week and we pulled it open first thing this morning. The TiRant9S is primarily a “Wet” silencer, meaning you put a little water, gel, oil or grease in it to get it at hearing safe. As Mike was in a class setting, he kept a steady stream of oil going all week. Here is a video showing what around a thousand rounds through a TiRant9S show with oil looks like. Monday, May 23, 2011Mers spent last week training with Clint and Heidi Smith out at Thunder Ranch . . . AWESOME TIME!! (I should have titles this thread “Mers gets a new hat!!”) Sunday, May 22, 2011An AAC X-Guns Hooded Shirt spotted at a “Nationally Franchised Coffee Establishment” Drive through window. Nice!
