This is a little something that as a life long gun guy, I had never seen one up close before. Very rare.

A Stechkin APS, a Russian Select Fire Machine Pistol

The Stechkin is chambered in 9x18mm Makarov and is Blowback operated.

Note the holster is also a stock, not unlike some older Lugers and Browning High Powers.

“It was with the Remington 220 gr. load, using an upper built to my specs by Delta Company Arms, a 4x ACOG, an AAC SCAR-H SD can, and an improvised rest. She’s capable of much better than this, and I plan to take it out to 100 and 250 soon to see what she can really do.”

The Mac11 in .380 was my first MG and it has a special place in my heart. Saw one around the office not long back and snapped a couple of pictures.

The interesting picture is the shot showing the size compared to a 1911.

Yesterday, Governor Bev Perdue signed House Bill 650 into law. H 650 will make several positive reforms to North Carolina’s gun laws . . . .

. . . . allows for the possession of Title II firearms in conformity with federal law and without limitation on any lawful use, as well as other improvements.

The reforms in H 650 will take effect on December 1, 2011.”
