Avaitor in action

Another nice picture sent in for the blog:

A pic of our Thanksgiving. My wife slaughtering turtles with her AAC Aviator and Tactical Solutions AR-22 M4. The brass bouncing off the windows was louder than the rifle!!!

The Aviator was an awesome silencer that was discontinued last year, sort of a longer Pilot. Great, great silencer

Will 300BLK SubSonic kill a deer? Oh yes it will!

John Titsworth made a great post over on www.300BLKTalk.com a great write up on a Deer he harvested with 300BLK SubSonic. Some of the pictures are a bit graphic (showing actual results) and may not be “work safe”.

LINK

I have read a lot of posts over the years about the ability of a subsonic round to kill a deer. I have been hunting since I was a small child, and I have killed lots of animals with subsonic ammunition before, but thought I would share this with the world so put the myth to rest. As with all hunting…shot placement is key.

More Bedtime for Bambi

This time from Daniel:

Just thought I would through off the 300blk deer hunting streak with some .308 action. Two deer same place, 120yrds 25 degree down angle, 5 minute time frame…. didn’t hear the shots, thanks to the 762SD :)

Thanks again!

I just love a story with a happy ending, don’t you?

Sniper School

Randall and Chad from Allen Arms took a 2 day sniper training class last week with Warrior Creek Training.

He reported the following:

“We were the only 2 guys in the class that ran cans on our rifles! The training was outstanding as I was lucky enough to be invited to this class which was L.E./Military only. Chad ran the 300SD on his Rem700 in a AI chasis and I ran a 762SD on a LWRCI REPR. Both cans performed awesome and really turned some heads at the noise reduction compared to everyone else. The 300SD on a .308 bolt gun is UNREAL quiet!!!! Thanks again to Jeremy and Ken at Warrior Creek for the great training!”

A picture in from Tom

“So what is ‘Advanced Armament Corp’?”

“I don’t know, but from the looks of the logo, it’s probably going to get a little crowded up here!!”
