Wednesday, April 25, 2012OK fine, Jonathon has a sweet Evolution45 on his H&K Tactical, but for those that don’t know that is a rare “Restroom Man” AAC Ball Cap!!(restroom man is on the other side of the cap . . . Jonathon, turn around man, turn around) Tuesday, April 24, 2012Jason, from TenPoundMonkey shot me over a simple chart that should help folks. When it comes to mounting a silencer on a host firearm, crush washers and peel washers are “DEATH”. They can allow the silencer to , well, for lack of a better word, “Crush” the washer and misalign the pathway through the silencer in relation to the bore of the barrel and cause an end cap strike. Another issue we see is failure to Rocksett the muzzle device to the barrel and failure to degrease the barrel and muzzle device prior to using the Rocksett. Make sure you follow the instructions provided with the muzzle device and the silencer. Tuesday, April 24, 2012Vito from Only the Best in Pompano Beach Florida had an Open House last week and wanted to share some of the photos. Please have a look. http://onlythebestfirearms.com/event.html The Grand Prize of the raffle was a 300 AAC Blackout 9″ Upper. Congratulations go out to the winner, Will Gomez! Monday, April 23, 2012Monday, April 23, 2012We brought 300 AAC Blackout to the Modern Day Marine 2011, held at Quantico and as usual, it was a big hit. Robert Bruce from Small Arms Defense Journal came by and got the run down. While I was expecting a mention in the overall article, I was plesently surprised that the Full page picture for the article was a 300BLK PDW. Nice! Friday, April 20, 2012Thursday, April 19, 2012Minnesota remains one of the 11 States that Law Abiding Citizens of the United States of America can not possess Silencers, however, they have taken a step forward. A bill was signed yesterday by the Governor that will allow Firearms Manufacturers, FFL Dealers and Law Enforcement Agencies the ability to own silencers. “Short Description – Federally licensed firearm importers, manufacturers and dealers firearm silencers possession and sale to authorized law enforcement agencies, military and other licensed importers, manufacturers and dealers authorization.” https://www.revisor.mn.gov/revisor/pages/search_status/status_detail.php?b=Senate&f=HF1816&ssn=0&y=2011 Congratulations Minnesota! One step closer to being able to own silencers yourself. Thanks go out to our brother Jason (see Superman shot a couple of posts below) for the heads up Wednesday, April 18, 2012Eagle Eyed “LB” spotted this one at the Mall the other day doing by one of those Video Game Shops. Note the muzzle devise Tuesday, April 17, 2012Neil from Gun Gallery in Jacksonville, FL is on a trip to Spain and posted these photos of him in an X-guns Shoulder Hoodie
