Have you noticed that this week, at least here in Georgia, the afternoons have been pleasant. Last Monday having been Labor Day signals the end of summer and the on coming of Fall.

It’s going to be “Beanie Weather” here pretty soon . . . .

While Hiram Percy Maxim is an obvious favorite around the AAC Offices, my personal favorite Maxim is his father, Sir Hiram Stevens Maxim, the inventor of many things including the Machinegun. Having read many stories about Hiram Stevens Maxim, he’s one of the persons throughout history I would have liked to have met.

Which brings me to my favorite Photo.

A little something I picked up in Las Vegas

Here is a little Titanium Lanyard Bead I picked up from “Dave22″ at a knife related show in Las Vegas last week.

It’s a small revolver cylinder made of a solid piece of Ti and as you can see from the Quarter, it’s a little undersized for actual use

It’s 0.1475 caliber

Ok, so every day around AAC is an adventure!

Today we happened to see a Walther MPK and spun a TiRant9 on it. Just had to be done!!

How did it do? Didn’t sound as good as other SMGs with a TiRant, but averaged about 125db.
