Handy Chart

Jason, from TenPoundMonkey shot me over a simple chart that should help folks.

When it comes to mounting a silencer on a host firearm, crush washers and peel washers are “DEATH”. They can allow the silencer to , well, for lack of a better word, “Crush” the washer and misalign the pathway through the silencer in relation to the bore of the barrel and cause an end cap strike.

Another issue we see is failure to Rocksett the muzzle device to the barrel and failure to degrease the barrel and muzzle device prior to using the Rocksett.

Make sure you follow the instructions provided with the muzzle device and the silencer. :) Doing so will ensure years and years of faithful service from your Silencer.

Blackout in Small Arms Defense Journal

We brought 300 AAC Blackout to the Modern Day Marine 2011, held at Quantico and as usual, it was a big hit. Robert Bruce from Small Arms Defense Journal came by and got the run down. While I was expecting a mention in the overall article, I was plesently surprised that the Full page picture for the article was a 300BLK PDW.

Nice!
