AAC Old Tech – Scorpion

This is one of the Silencers that back in the day I was in LOVE with, but never got to shoot one, much less own one.

Found this in the R&D Guys area :)

From the 2002-2003 AAC Catalog

Scorpion

Caliber – 9mm
O.A. Length – 4.00 in (102mm)
Diameter – 1/00in (25mm)
Weight – 2.2oz (63gr)
Degree of Suppression – -28dB* (Wet)
Construction Materials – 6061-T6 Aluminum & 304 Stainless Steel
Standard Finish – Matt Black Anodize

* Given the unique mission requirements that prompted the design of the Scorpion, a three round average was used to arrive at the 28dB reduction figure. The average sound reduction based on a 10 shot test sample is 23dB
