Mers took a TiRant9S to Thunder Ranch this past week and we pulled it open first thing this morning.
The TiRant9S is primarily a “Wet” silencer, meaning you put a little water, gel, oil or grease in it to get it at hearing safe. As Mike was in a class setting, he kept a steady stream of oil going all week.
Here is a video showing what around a thousand rounds through a TiRant9S show with oil looks like.

Q: Is it safe to use Hoppes #9 in your suppressors?
(There is a persistent rumor that it is not friendly to some metals)

Hoppes #9 is not Anodized Aluminum friendly. Use a Solvent that does not have Ammonia.
