Glock has long held out against the (awesome) trend to bringing out “Silencer Ready” pistols for the consumer market. At long last there are factory threaded Glock Barrels available to the US Firearms Market. AAC, AcuSport (a leading distributor in the outdoors and shooting sports market) and Glock worked together to make this happen.
This past year AcuSport began distributing the full line of Advanced Armament Suppressors and their bringing Glock on board to produce factory threaded barrels is a Win/Win for everyone in the market. Initial runs of barrels are for the Glock G19 (9x19mm) threaded M13.5x1LH and the Glock G21 (45Auto) threaded M16x1LH.
These barrels are an exclusive to AcuSport, who began taking orders from Dealers in January. The barrels have just come into stock and will be shipping to your local dealers. If your dealer doesn’t have these on order, please have them contact AcuSport ASAP . . . these will no doubt go FAST!

Any details on an MSRP for these factory-threaded barrels?

Autonym. I do not have that information. You will need to contact your “AcuSport” dealer for that information

[...] Advanced Armament Corporation had made it known that one of the larger firearm and sporting good distributors, Acusport, is carrying Glock factory threaded barrels. Although, in California it is illegal to add a threaded barrel to a pistol, in most other states individuals are free to do so and what would be better than to add an AAC Suppressor to your Glock 19 or 21? The initial run of barrels will be for the Glock 19 in M13.5x1LH and the Glock 21 threaded M16x1LH. It seems that the public is starting to consider the practical application suppressors for practical home defense. Shooting a firearm indoors without hearing protection is painful and can cause permanent hearing loss. When there is a stranger in your home and is trying to hurt you and your loved ones, putting in ear plugs is not an option. A suppressed Glock 19 with night sights by your bedside would be a great hearing safe home defense tool. More states are passing laws allowing suppressor ownership and is good to see that the distributor community has noticed this and is carrying more products to be delivered to their dealers. As Acusport is one of our main distributors, you will most likely find this product being sold in our web store which will be coming very soon. Acusport is a distributor and will only sell products to licensed dealers and not the general public. (0) Comments | Add Comment Tweet [...]
