We recently acquired a live-fire trailer to assist in testing and R&D.
Great to see a company blog! I have added a link from The Firearm Blog.

Wow, that’s pretty cool.
So what advantages are there to it as opposed to shooting in a standard indoor range?
And I’m curious, what do you use for a backstop? And how loud is it outside the trailer?

One of the main advantages is having the trailer on-site, attached to our building. It expedites the R&D process dramatically, because we don’t have to drive to a range for testing.
The trailer is fully lined with rubber and armor. The back of the trailer has large rubber sheets that catch the bullets. The trailer is well ventilated, and is completely silent outside.
