Sidebar – Shoot houses

I’ve gotten a few questions about the first pic in the post I did HERE about what looks like unloading a rifle into a cement wall. Well, that’s exactly what it is! It’s in a new Army shoot house built entirely from a product called SACON (Shock Absorbing CONcrete) from a company called BTI. It’s a fine-grain concrete that is mixed with foam and fiber to product a product that provides self-supporting walls that absorb and catch bullets. Very cool technology. And once it’s shot up, you can patch it with a repair mixture making good as new.
