  5. Thanks for the ACR goodness!
Mers didn’t mention the coolest part of the ACR tho… the interchangeable lowers. Sadly, I’m sure Remington hasn’t given you an AK lower to play with as well. The ACR wins over the Robinson XCR in having interchangeable lowers so you can easily migrate to better magazine designs (like the Golani’s, or other AK derivatives).

For the moment I think I’ll still put off the ACR in favor of an RFB or an XCR, until I can get the ACR in 7.62×39 eating from AK mags.

  6. Neat, it’s a but unfortunate that they are putting the sights on the rails, I like FNs idea where the sights are on the barrel, so there is no adjustment needed to your iron sights when you change barrel lengths. But I like some of the ideas that Magpul brought to this, like no tools needed to change it up, unlike FN where you need the torque wrench, and the non-reciprocating charging handle.

Got a question, which part is the serialized? And does that part change when you change calibers and other options?

  7. So far as I know the Remington ACR does not have a 7.62×39 barrel or lower… Maybe I am wrong but, it is not on there website.

  8. The ACR is 5.56, 6.5, and 6.8 last I checked. I believe that upper was serialized.
